Basic First Aid
3 hours - $50 - includes a student first aid kit
Basic First Aid is
intended for teachers, coaches, school bus drivers, scout leaders, emergency
response teams in businesses, and the general public - those wanting to be
prepared in an emergency.
Objectives: Students learn
how to deal with emergencies like bleeding, burns, shock, poisoning, thermal
injuries, fractures, strains, seizures, diabetic and allergic reactions, insect
bites, and other life-threatening emergencies. The First Aid card is
valid for 3 years, though recommended annually.
